CBD FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

What is CBD?

CBD (cannabidiol) is a naturally occurring compound found in the hemp plant. It is non-psychoactive, meaning it does not produce a 'high', and is widely used to support everyday wellbeing.

Will CBD make me feel high?

No. CBD does not have psychoactive effects. Unlike THC (tetrahydrocannabinol), CBD will not alter your state of mind or make you feel intoxicated. Our products contain less than 0.2% THC, in line with UK legal requirements.

Is CBD legal in the UK?

Yes. CBD products are legal in the UK provided they contain less than 0.2% THC. All CBD Dukes products comply with UK regulations and are independently lab tested to confirm this.

Will CBD show up on a drug test?

Standard drug tests screen for THC, not CBD. However, because our products contain trace amounts of THC (below 0.2%), there is a very small possibility it could register on a sensitive test. If you are subject to regular drug testing, we recommend consulting with your employer or medical professional before use.

How do I take CBD oil?

Place the recommended number of drops under your tongue and hold for 60 to 90 seconds before swallowing. This allows the CBD to absorb directly into the bloodstream. Start with a low dose and gradually increase until you find what works for you.

How much CBD should I take?

There is no one-size-fits-all answer. We recommend starting low (around 10 to 15mg per day) and increasing gradually over a few weeks. Individual responses vary depending on body weight, metabolism, and what you are using CBD for. If in doubt, consult your GP.

Are CBD Dukes products lab tested?

Yes. All our products are independently tested by third-party laboratories to verify CBD content and confirm THC levels are within legal limits. We are committed to full transparency and quality.

Can I take CBD alongside other medication?

CBD can interact with certain medications. We strongly recommend speaking with your doctor or pharmacist before taking CBD if you are on prescription medication, particularly blood thinners or epilepsy medication.

How should I store CBD products?

Store your CBD products in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children. Do not refrigerate unless instructed.

Is CBD suitable for everyone?

CBD is not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding women, or for children under 18. If you have an existing medical condition, consult a healthcare professional before use.
